Indomitus, as it is known among the pokémon population, was just like any other region generations ago. Humans were relatively new to the region, but they quickly began to colonize the region in partnership with their pokémon. But suddenly, just as soon as the humans arrived, they vanished. Having left few clues among their deserted homes and empty towns, it left the wild pokémon population wondering what could have caused the humans to flee so suddenly and silently. Many years later, rumors have begun to circulate about the return of the humans. Mysterious humanoid figures has been spotted wandering the Indomitus wilderness, emitting a dark aura and attacking pokémon on sight with their ghostly powers. Did the humans really leave, or is there a darker force at play?
As the title suggests, here you can discuss your favorite pokemon c: and/or your favorite pokemon type, design, species name, evolution line, etc. :3
I tend to favor the more four-legged furry-animal types of pokemon like Growlithe and Ninetales and Ponyta and so on, so most of those fall into my favorites.
My favorite evolution line is the eeveelutions because I'm a sucker for cute pokemon (eevee), and then I just love all its evos with their designs and the whole one-for-each-type thing. Umbreon is my favorite eeveelution and my favorite pokemon overall since it has the whole moon motif and is dark-type and has a cool design and is four-legged and cat/dog/fox-like (I really like Umbreon XD) (this also happens to mean my favorite type is dark). The main reason why I'm not playing an umbreon (yet) on here is because of Fyrfly c:

I also tend to prefer four-legged pokemon, but my favorite pokemon is actually Ampharos! I'll probably make an Ampharos character at some point, but I haven't gotten any ideas yet. Favorite types of mine are dark, dragon, electric, and fire.
Fyrfly is my pokesona and she's an Umbreon because upon asking my friends what pokemon I'd be, I was told I'd be an Umbreon. I also really like Snivy for a similar reason, I feel like in the pokemon universe, I would be one.
Some other miscellaneous favorites are Purrloin, Midday Lycanroc, Eevee, Fennekin, Noivern, Sylveon, Leafeon, Alolan Ninetales, Cyndaquil, Zigzagoon, Minccino, Zoroark, Vivillon, and Salandit. My favorite legendaries are Reshiram and Xerneas!
Though for absolute favorites, it would have to be MewTwo (always #1 for me), Mew, Lugia, Giratina, Yveltal, Darkrai, Type: Null, pretty much all the fore type starters since that's usually my pick in the games, Swampert, the Growlithe line, the Vulpix lines, the Houndour line, Gardevoir, Spiritomb, and Linoone.
I can't wait for the new Zigzagoon line lol.
Looking at that, I really like legends and dogs. Really, I like anything with interesting lore and a good movie /reaches for mewtwo
